Short answer: November through April. That's peak season in the Bahamas, and it's the only window we operate in — for good reason. Outside of it, hurricane season and unpredictable weather make chartering a much bigger gamble. But "peak season" spans six months, and each part of it has a distinctly different feel. Here's how to pick your month.
November – December
Early Season: Fewer Boats, Building Energy
November and early December are our quietest, most under-the-radar weeks — the trade winds (our namesake amihan) have kicked in, humidity has dropped, and you'll share anchorages with far fewer boats than you will in February. It's a great window if your priority is solitude and calmer water.
Late December shifts entirely as the holidays approach, building toward our New Year's Sail — one of the busiest and most celebratory stretches of the whole season. If you want the party energy, book this window; if you want quiet, aim for the first three weeks of the month instead.
